In tho store sheep section very few in-lamb ewes came forward and the quality being medium only not much interest was displayed by buyers. In the hogget classes tile offering of owes comprised, mostly medium sorts, and prices wore barely maintained. The domand for good qualify wether hoggets was keen and at 26s 8d the top price so far this season was reached. Medium and inferior sorts wero difficult to quit Tho olToring of beef was smaller than at late sales; all classes, however, wore fully firm or. Into rates. The quality of tho dairy stock was better than th ■ provious week’s offering and prices consequently showed an improvement. Potter cows and a, small yarding of run cattle sold freely. Prime heavy ewes, 38s 9d to 39s Id ; prime, 34s to 36s 6d; plain, 26s fo 31s. In-lamb ewes, medium, 25s to 27s Bd. Ewe hoggets, medium sorts, 30s Id to 32s lOd: lower grade, 26i 6d to 27s 3d: best wother hoggets, 24s 4a to 26s 4d: others, 21s 9d to 23s lOd; b.f. hoggets, 16s to 22s Id. Beef cattle: Medium fat bullocks, £ll 5s to £ll 19s: Jersey fat bullocks, £10; station cows, £7 10s to £8 10s.
