TEST MATCH INCIDENT.
OFENDER FINED.

James Dunsmuir, a seaman,, ivai charged before Mr E. Stilwell, S.M., to-day, with obtaining admission to Athletic Park on Saturday without paying the 2s 6d admission fee, and with obstructing a policeman. The constable saw him rush through the gate and get about ten yards into the enclosure. He asked Dunsmuir for his ticket, knowing lie hadn’t one, as lie had seen him refused admission. Accused made a rush into the crowd and the constable caught him, whereupon he started to punch and kick. At the police station. accused said he had no money but wanted to see game. He admitted climbing the' fence in the first place. On the first charge accused was fined 15s, in default three days’ gaol; and on the second charge he was fined £2, in default - seven days’ gaol.
