DINGHY FOUNDERS AT THAMES

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 15. Thorburn, aged 17, and IV. R. Davis, aged 16, had a narrow escape from drowning in the sea about a mile on the Thames side of Tapu this afternoon and were taken to the Thames Hospital in an unconscious condition. The boys had been fishing from a dinghy, which had not been used for some time, and when it was a considerable distance from the shore at \Vaiomio, it started to leak and foundered under them, throwing them into thq sea.
