COLOUR PHOTOGRAPHS

USE BY THE POLICE. For the first time in the history of the New South Wales police phamhlets o? stolen goods were recently produced in natural colours. The photographic staff of the department had prints made of some of the goods stolen from the home of Sir Sydney Snow when his home at Wahroonga was robbed of jewellery and clothing valued at £IOOO. The prints were described as a perfect representation of the goods. They were distributed to all detectives and others who might help in finding the missing articles. The Police Department hopes soon to have all valuable stolen property reproduced in colour on pamphlets so that any person seeing the pictures would have no difficulty in identifying them.
