BERLIN, Aug. 14

The Nazi newspaper Angriff accuses the Pope of ind/iging in propaganda against Germany in speeches to German pilgrims. It says this is the reason why German Roman Catholics and others were forbidden to make a pilgrimage to Rome. “It would be self-mutilation for Germany to expose her citizens to hostile propaganda,” it added.
