VIOLENCE IN DALMATIA.
BISHOP PELTED WITH EGGS. BELGRADE, Aug. 13. Two hundred Czechs of the Orthodox faith, led by a bishop, were pelted with tomatoes, eggs, and stones when they attempted to land on a Dalmatian island, where a report was circulated that the bishop, with 200 priests, was. coming forcibly to baptise all Roman Catholics into the Orthodox Church When their ship attempted to berth islanders cut the mooring ropes and tho excursionists were forced to retire.
