The lamb market is vei-y' firm at the slightly higher prices for lambs, 2’s and B’s; consumption continues good. Mutton market:. Lightweight wethers a shade easier; other descriptions steady' and unchanged. Ewes firm, with an upward tendency. Beef market: Frozen beef, hindquarters a shade easier.. Chilled beef, hindquarters firmer this week owing to shortage of supplies. Fores weaker, owing to hot weather. New Zealand porker pigs : Firmer, owing to approaching opening of the pork season. New Zealand baeoner pigs: Nominal, none available on the spot. The above report was received yesterday' by the Moat Board, which advises that the following represent prices realised on Thursday based on actual transactions of wholesale quantities of tlie descriptions of meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods offering that day, being for business done on tho basis of delivered to Smithfield market, and/or ex London stores.
