PALESTINE PROBLEM.

UNITED STATES INTEREST. Received August 14. 9.20 a.m. WASHINGTON, Aug. 13. The United States has requested and received assurances from Britain that tho proposed changes in Palestine would not adversely affect American interests there. The Foreign Office stressed that it welcomed the interest taken by theUnited States in the solution of the Palestine problem and would keep her fully informed.
