MANNEQUIN’S WAIST.

VALUE ASSESSED AT £6OO. PARIS, July 26. A mannequin’s waist is worth £6OO, according to the judgment of a Court which awarded that amount to Mile Andree Leguon, a blonde mannequin employed at a fashionable Parisian dressmaker’s establishment, who was injured in a motor smash. Her counsel said that Mile Leguen s slim waist and figure placed her at the top of her profession. Now, after the accident, her waist is not the same. Moreover, a big bruise on the hip prevented her from wearing bathing costumes at fashion parades.
