Received August 13. 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 12. “There is no doubt that the impurities in the tobacco are the result of floor sweepings,” said the Magistrate in fining Philip Lesser, a. Limehouse tobacco manufacturer, £3OO for filing tobacco containing foreign substances. Cigarettes taken from his premises contained pieces of coal, paper, tinfoil, lead, bristles, cardboard, wood, and sealing wax.
