RIFLE SHOOTING
PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB. Nearly forty members of the Palmerston North (Linton) Rifle Club fired over two ranges at the club’s range on Tuesday evening. A selfhandicap spoon trophy was held over the second range, being won by H. Barlow from scratch, with a score of 70 net. He was the last man to go down on the range, and Iv. Rush, H. Hayter, V. Goldfinch and K. O’Shea had then all put up totals of 69. Those who secured 75 per cent or better for the two-range shoot were as follow: —H. Barlow, 69 —70—138; G. .Shelley, 69—70—139; F. N.
