AGES, WEIGHTS AND HEIGHTS. The ages, weights and heights of the New Zealand players chosen for the first Test are as follow BACKS.
FORWARDS.
Averages.—Backs: Age, 23.7 years; weight, 12st.; height, sft. 9£in. Forwards: Age, 24 years; weight, 14st. 21b. ; height, 6ft. llin. The representation by districts is as follows: —Otago 4, Hawke’s Bay 3. Canterbury 2, Auckland 1, Taranaki 1, AVellington 1. AA’est Coast 1, Manawatu 1, Southland 1. Emergencies: King Country 2, Canterbury 2, Auck land 1. Morrison (South Canterbury) is the only player of the original twenty chosen for training who is not included in either the team or the emergencies.
A CHANGE IN THE TEAM
A Press Association telegram was received from AVellington yesterday after the publication of the All Blacks’ team for the first Test, in the later editions of the “Standard,” stating.that R. H. AVard was to replace J. G. Rankin in the forwards.
