Special penalties are now provided against Paris hotelkeepers and others who fail to comply with the provisions of a new law which compels them prominently to display prices of bedrooms, meals, pension and half pension terms in hotels and boarding lionises. A Liverpool policeman is to be rewarded for his invention of a wireless receiving sot suitable for a pedal cycle. The Citv Council is to recommend . a sum of '£2s as a reward for his disinterested action in not claiming a royalty.
