STRIKE IN ONTARIO.
GIRL DEMONSTRATORS GASSED. MONTREAL, Aug. 10. Violence broke out during strikes at two textile mills, the police gassing and dispersing 150 girls at a Petersborough (Ontario) factory. Several were injured, and the Mayor was beaten when he tried to interfere.
