SALE OF JERSEY CATTLE.

On the 10th instant, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Lid., and the N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., in conjunction, conducted a sale of pedigree and grade Jersey cattle on behalf of Mr C. T. Kceblo at the homestead, Fitzherbevt. There was a good attendance. There was also steady competition for bulls, two-year-olds selling at from eleven to fourteen guineas, and yearlings at seven to ten guineas. The line of thirty grade heifers sold particularly well. Heifers, calv;d, made £7 to £lO, and springers (early ealvers), £7 10s to £9 10s, according to size; more backward, £6 to £B. A range of implements, timber posts, etc., interested a good attendance of buyers.
