PANTRY TEA.

MISS T. KERSEL. Miss Thelma Kersel, whose marriage takes place shortly, was the guest of honour at a pantry tea at which the hostesses were Misses R. Liddell and G. Bates. The function was held at the home of Miss Liddell, who wore marina green maroeain ; Miss Bates had chosen a lemon frock with brown trimmings. A green coat and tartan skirt were worn by Miss Kersel. The drawing-room was prettily arranged with Iceland poppies. Competitions were won by Misses J. McDonnel, M. Penketh and V. Wilson. A song contributed by Miss Penketh was enjoyed. Those present were : Mrs Kersel, Mrs Liddell, Misses J. Kersel, C. Faulkoner, J. McDonnel, V. Wilson, C. Mardon, J. Andrews, L. Ware, D. Newtli, M. Penketh and J. Spencer.
