REMARKABLE OPERATION.
GLAND TO REVIVE A MAN. LONDON, Aug. 5. A London surgeon is to undertake a remarkable operation on Peter Chamberlain. author and motor racer, who i, suffering from narcolepsy, a disease which causes him to fall asleep suddenly. A suprarenal gland will be taken from a dead body and grafted into Chamberlain’s arm This will provide adrenalin, which Chamberlain’s blood lacks. Chamberlain gave up racing after waking up just before crashing into a wall.
