WOODVILLE STOCK SALE.
Abraham and Williams, .Ltd., report a medium yarding of sheep with a heavy vardimr of cattle of all class.-* si tin Woodville sale, held yesterday. The yarding in the cattle section was comprised principally of fat cows and bullocks, with a good yarding of springing Jersey heifers and cows. Some choice quality sta-tion-bred cattle were yarded and for these, competition was keen and we report a tip-top clearance at highly satisfactory prices to vendors. . Sorno choice quality springing heifers were also submitted, and for these we report an excellent sale with practically a complete clearance at auction. Store cattle of all classes also sold freely at late rates. Quotations: syr ewes, r.w. S.D. r.. 22s 6d, 24s to 27s lOd; ewe hoggets, 27s 6d; fat hoggets, 235, 295, 30s. Dairy cattlo: Springing heifers (good quality), £6, £6 10s, £6 L\?„ £7, £7 10s, £7 15s, £B, £3 ss; spg. cows. £4 10s. £5, £5 10s, £6. £6 10s, £7: store run cattle, rising 3yr. P.A. steers, £0 ss; rising 3yr. empty P.A. heifers, £6; yearling P.A. heifers, £4 ss.
