The women of Palmerston North will be privileged to-morrow afternoon to hear an address by Mrs Hugh Paterson, of Paliiatua, on the “Aims and Objects of the League of Nations.” Mrs Paterson is wellknown as a gifted public speaker so that those attending will be afforded a stimulating afternoon. The function has been arranged by the Manawatu branch of the League of Nations Union at Messrs Ocllinson and Cunninghame’s tearooms at 2.30 p.m.
