FIVE MILLION CLUB.
MEETING IN PALMERSTON NORTH. A meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the Five Million Club was held last evening, when Hon. V. E. Barnard, M:P.. was present and stressed the importance of the movement tb increase the population of New Zealand. He said that in all the cities aiid larger towns clubs were functioning actively. It was decided to set up a. migration research committee with Mr H. A. Seifert as chairman, and a birth-rate research committee with Mr C. J. Adcock, M. A., ias chairman.
