WRESTLING.
MATCH AT PALMERSTON NORTH. BLOMFIELD v. KING KONG COX. The Manawatu Wrestling Association’s next match will he between the popular Lofty Blomfield and the doughty American. King Kong Cox. This is a return encounter between two of the very best wrestlers in the Dominion at the present time, and quite a number of associations have been eager to secure this bout. It says a good deal for the energetic Manawatu Association, and the support it receives from the local public, that it lias been favoured. Palmerston North is known for tlie very good “houses” that greet wrestlers, and these rank with the best in the leading cities. The Manawatu Association is a major one, and this year has been able to provide its public with the very best matches from the wrestlers now in the Dominion. It was announced that “Strangler” Lewis would be wrestling in Palmerston North in the next bout, but owing to the impossibility of securing a suitably opponent the association has accepted the former match, evidence of its progressive management.
