ATLANTIC CROSSING.
NORMANDIE BREAKS OWN RECORD. LONDON, Aug. 9.. The Normandie crossed the Atlantic from west to east in 94'hours 7 minutes, at an average 6peed of 31.20 knots. She broke lier own record of 96 hours 6 minutes and an average ol 30.99 knots which was established in March.
