RURAL RAKINGS. All good quality dairy heifers, close to profit, are being keenly sought in tlio Waikato, and soli up to £l2 10s; medium quality heifers, £8 to £10; and backwnrd lots, £5 to £6. Not many dairy cows are now coming forward, _ but any genuino cows never fail to receive attention. Best cows make £6 to £7 10s; later calvers, £4 to £5. Volunteer April Lady (imp.), tlie dam of tho young pedigree Jersey bull bred by Mr J- A. Mitchell, of Longburn, and recently purchased by Mr A. F. Berry, of Rockville, Collingwood. has a certificate of record performance of 6211 b of butterfat. Due to the dropping of a figure in Saturday’s issue tho record appeared at 621 b, which was obviously incorrect.
