PREPARATIONS FOR CROWD. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 9. To provide accommodation for 5,0,000 people to see the Springboks in the second Test match on September 4, a further temporary stand to hold between 2000 and 2500 people is to be erected at Lancaster Park. The Canterbury Rugby Union is giving consideration to provision for many people who will come from outside Christchurch to see the Test match. Part of the seating in the temporary stand will be available for the Springboks v. Canterbury match on August 21.
