THREE WEEKS’ GAOL.
OFFENCE WHILE ON SUSTENANCE. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Aug. 9. John Jesse Woodford, aged 29, a sustenance man, was sentenced to three weeks’ imprisonment on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a car, and his license was suspended for two years. Accused, who had a previous conviction, ran into a verandah pole, it was stated.
