A new drug, aminobenzenesulphonamide, known for short as sulphanilade, derived from coal tar, offers hopes of good results in diseases affecting the blood stream, according to Mr T. E. Leseher, chairman of the Pharmaceutical Conference. Dr. John Cameron, delegate from the Rockefeller Medical Foundation, said the drug had been used successfully in China.
