INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

MORE CASES IN VICTORIA. MELBOURNE, Aug. 6. Sixteen cases of infantile paralysis reported this week bring the total to 58, six of which have been fatal. Cases are now occurring in all the suburbs and the schools are being closed as they' appear. One case was reported in the country 45 miles from Melbourne. Country residents are appealing to the authorities to prevent children being allowed to travel from the affected areas.
