AUSTRALIAN AVIATION.
U.S. INTEREST DENIED. Received August 7, 1.54 p.m. MONTREAL. Aug. (5. Pan-American Airlines have emphatically denied any connection with the Australian internal aviation proposal. The head office of the Bank of America at San Francisco stated: It is unthinkable that we would be interested in an Australian line. The Douglas Corporation, Los Angeles, stated: We have never heard of any projected American-Australian line. An earlier message appears on page 9.
