EUCHRE PARTY.
HOKOWHITU BOWLING CLUB. Dlrs H. Silvester was hostess at an enjoyable euchre evening, hold at her residence, to raise funds for the Hokowhitu Bowling Club. About forty players were present, Airs Silvester receiving the guests wearing a smart frock of black hand-painted marocain. The prize-winners were: Highest score, Miss Underwood and Mr Bee; consolation. Mrs H. Schoulcr and Mr H. Whitehead. A biscuit competition was won by Airs E. AlcDonald.
