OTAGO CLUB.

The usual monthly gathering of the Otago Club -was held on Wednesday evening. The function took the form of an old-time dance. A large number of members and their friends were present and an enjoyable time was spent. Highland dances were given by Misses Bessie Thompson, Ngairc Cliatfield, Nola Beauchamp and Winnie McSweenoy, and Miss Phyllis Pellow danced a jig. All the dancers were recalled. Mr G. Whitelock rendered vocal numbers which were much appreciated. Mr J. S. Winton, vice-president, welcomed the visitors and thanked those who hod entertained them. An apology for absence was received from the president (Mr A. J. Graham). Mr I?. McCulloch carried out the duties of M.C. The hostesses were Mesdames A. Dennison and F. Wilkinson.
