SHIPPING LOSSES.
SMALLEST TOTAL SINCE WAR. (British Official Wireless.) TtUGBl', Aug. 5. Figures issued by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping show that the number of British merchant ships lost last year was the smallest since the war, namely, 41 with a total tonnage ot 41,209. Only one of the leading maritime countries, namely, Denmark, lias smaller percentage.
