PORT ELIZABETH, July 5. 1 A barber known as “Solly Smith” has been advised by the Italian Minister that he is Count Nicolai CataEione and the heir to £150,000. Born in Italy, he went to South Africa with his widowed mother, who had remarried. The son assumed his stepfather’s name anil his mother did not reveal his parentage for fear that he would be called on to serve in the Italian army, but recently she changed her mind and produced the documents.
