WELLINGTON STOCK EXCHANGE.

YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. Business on the Wellington Stock Exchange was quiet yesterday, but the markets generally showed little change, Government loans were fully firm, but little was offering from holders. Bank of Npw Zealand, ordinary shares, were easier, and National of Now Zealand were offering at 63?, ex-dividend. Commercial of Australia and National of Australia were firm. Industrial and trading issues were generally quiet. G. J. Coles were definitely firmer, buyers moving up to £5 Bs, and sellers asking 3d higher. Broken Hill Proprietary wore steady at 81s, sellers 81s 6d, and Electrolytic Zinc and Mount Lyeli wore firm. Goldmining issues were very dull. YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS.
