The buovancy that has existed during the past few weeks still continues and in some branches increases, says a Waikato market report. Store cattle are firming fast. Whether or not holders will bo encouraged by this to put lines on the market remains to be seen, but it is unlikely, because there is a general belief that the present improvement is merely the beginning and that the spring will see higher levels established than in previous year*.
