APPLE MARKET FIRMER.
The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated July 3, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: Apples.—Port Caroline, Coptic, and Akaroa shipments discharged in good con dition. Market firmer at better prices. Current prices are: Sturmer, Delicious, Jonathan, Rokewood and Newton Pippin, 9s to 10s; Statesman. 8s to 10s; Cleopatra, Dunn’s Favourite, 8s to 9s; Rome Beauty, Pioneer, 7s to 9s.
