DANGERS AROUND SANTANDER

The Board of Trade has warned British shipowners that Spanish insurgent men of war are patrolling the neighbourhood of Santander and that there is considerable risk that an attempt might he made to capture such ships attempting to enter Santander. The British Navy will give protection only to the limit of the territorial waters. . „ , ~ General Franco has informed the employees of the Orconera Iron Ore Co., which is a British firm, that they mav return with safety.
