Vautier, ii. Wood, A. Olsen, W. Vautier, L. Speedy, .J, Smith, and H. Hanowlieid (emergency). The B team had a bye. M ss AI. Lancaster, of Palmerston North, spent the week-end in the district A particularly onjoyab.o ball was held in the hall for funds lor the Hall Queen. Streamers and balloons were distributed amongst the dancers. Round übout J.O o’clock, many an eye turned toward the stage, where the leading queen's flag was to bo run up for the liist time. Mr. E. Heneghan explained the position, after which, Mr J. Alorrls (treasurer), who alone know the leading queen, raised the flags, the gren and white hall one on top, with the purple and gold just below.
