A notification from Mr Alan D. Abercrombie that be is unable to meet his financial engagements has been received bv the committee of the Brisbane Stock Exchange. Mr Abercrombie has been president of the Brisbane Exchange for the past two years. A leading firm of Brisbane accountants was immediately instructed by the committee to make a toll investigation of Mr Abercrombie’s books.
