GIFT EVENING.
A surprise party, organised by Alias Zita Robinson, visited the home of Aliss Constance Kempson on Saturday evening to make her a presentation in view of her forthcoming marriage to Air William Brown. Miss Robinson wore an ensemble of uncrusliable crepe designed in brown and yellow, Aliss Kempson a frock of maroon checked maracain, and Airs Kempson brown crepe-de-chine patterned in green and orange. A happy time was spent in games and dancing .and after supper Mr P. J. Doivnie presented the guest of honour with a set of cream and green enamelware for her kitchen. Air H. Kempson returned thanks in the absence of Aliss Kempson’s fiance. Competitions were won by .Misses K. Jackson and J. McPherson arid Messrs B. Stahleford and lv. Vowell. Others in the party were Alisses M.. Kempson, Al. Berkhan, S. Gardner, E. Ford, F. Alatthews, I). Wheatley, J. Bennett and AY. Howarth, and Messrs R,. r K. Kempson. B. Bodell, AA . Alatthews, R. Tester, V. Smith and B. Whitmore. There were apologies for absence from Alisses J. Robinson and A. Hall.
