POLICE COURT CHARGE.

ATTEMPTED SUICIDE ALLEGED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 5. A domestic; aged 36, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to a charge of attempting to commit suicide by jumping from Grafton Bridge yesterday afternoon. The police said that she had made a similar attempt a year ago, when a sister had made herself responsible for her good conduct. Yesterday two men saw her place a suitcase in a bay of Grafton Bridge and climb the parapet, but they then caught her by the legs. The woman asked them to leave her alone, telling them it was none of their business. Air AYyvern Wilson, S.AI.. convicted ihe woman and remanded her until July 12 for medical observation.
