CHRISTIAN SCIENCE. CHURCHES.

“God" was the subject of the LessonSermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The Go'd-n Text was Jude 1: 25: “To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name: bring-an offering and come into His courts.” (Psal. 96: 7, 8.1 Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “Life. Truth and Love constitute the triune Person called God—that is, the triply divine Principle Love. They represent a trinity in unity, three in one the same in essence, though multiform in office: God the Father-Mother; Christ the spiritual idea of sonship; divine Science or the Ho’y Comforter. These three express in divine Science the threefold, essential nature of the infinite.” (p. 331.)
