The track was greasy after a week’s heavy frosts. Dent broke a bone in an ankle when .Miss Shambles fell in the Steeplechase and L. J. Klliis dislocated a shoulder when Alary Pratt fell in the Winter Handicap and brought down his mount. Silver Lark.
