Kitto) and Snowy Dawn (V. Unrigford), who went over live steeplechase fences but could not be seen as the visibility at the time was loss than a fullong. Unicr on, when it was clearer, Maninvatu (A. McDonald) and Hunting Go (T. Bovle) , both jumped the same flight fence for fence with Gay Box (V. Langford) trailing them some lengths behind. The only horse to go over the hurdles 1 was Sunder (L. Duliou) who carefully jumped two fences. I So little of tho work on the Hat was caught that it would servo no purpose to give what was noticeable. Among (hose who impressed were Polity, Southern ] Blood, Boomerang, Maori Song, and Val- < mint, but many wore missed. Nearly all j the horses engaged at the meeting were c on the tracks.
