STREET ACCIDENTS.

Cars driven by Mr D. J). Young, of Palmerston North, and Aft- G. F. Tipler, of Shannon, collided at the Bank of New Zealand corner of the .Square on Saturday night, but although the. impact was severe enough to turn Air Young’s ear over on its side none of the Occupants was seriously hurt. Mrs Young suffered a cut on the head and a child sustained knocks .and a slightly bruised wrist, both being taken home. Severe bruises and shock were suffered by Alias Mavis Rogers, a domestic residing in Broadway, when she was knocked off her bicycle in Broadway early on Saturday ovening. She was taken to hospital, but was discharged to-day.
