DEFENCE FORCES.
INSTRUCTIONAL COURSES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 1. The Minister of Defence (Hon. F. Jones) said to-day that arrangements had been made recently for two junior artillery officers to attend a three months’ course of instruction at the School of Artillery. Sydney. He had also been able to arrange for three non-commissioned officers to attend a three months’ eavalrv course at Rand wick. On their return they would be posted as instructors with mounted rifle regiments. He was considering the question of reinstituting an exchange of officers with Australia and possibly with India.
