PRODUCE AND POULTRY. The Dominion Auctioneering Coy. reports ns follows: Vegetables have been in rather short supply, and with a keen demand prevailing prices for .all lines have l>een very firm. There has been a limited supply of fruit for the week, all lines meeting with a rea.dv sale at prices in the vendors’ favour. Poultry again came forward in large quantities, full pens resulting in a total clearance at very satisfactory prices. There was a keen demand fori all lines, with a rising tendency. A good entry of pigs came forward with a particularly keen enquiry for weaners, porkers and slips also being in demand. Pears, Winter Coles 10s to 13s per I case. Lemons, best. 17s to 20s per case; others, 12s to 10s. Parsnips, 2s Od to 4s per sugar bag. 11 hnbarb, Os to 7s Od per dozen.
