INDIANAPOLIS STV-EL STRIKE. INDIANAPOLIS, July 1. A truce is announced between the Committee for Industrial Organisation and the Inland Steel Co., whose 19,000 workers have been idle silce Mr John C. Lewis called the strike on May 26. A settlement was arranged by the State Governor. He had mobilised troops when the negotiation's were apparently in danger of collapsing.
