FAST BRITISH TRAIN.
SPEED OF 112 MILES AN HOUR. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 29. A train speed of over 112 miles an hour was reached by the new express known as the Coronation Scot on the London-Midland Railway. This train will be used between London and Glasgow. During the first trial run the train made a record of 106.5 miles an hour over a distance of six miles, and for over a mile recorded a maximum Hpeed of 112 miles an hour.
