NOTES.
A very pleasant function was held at the Feilding Agricultural High School when members of Form Vc 1) gathered to bid farewell to three of their 'members, Misses Phyllis Goldsmith, -Elaine Short and Joy Sundgren, who are leaving school to take up business positions. The evening was spent in games, dancing, and competitions, and a dainty supper was served by the members of the form, after which items were rendered by Misses C. Pearson, E. 'Short, 1). McElroy and P. Goldsmith. At the recent Wanganui Show Mr H. L. Pickett (Feilding) won two prizes in the bird fanciers’ section, and at the Wellington Canary Show last week secured several awards. Mr M. E. Toose (Feilding) also figured in the prize list at Wellington. At the recent Show at Palmerston North Mrs H. M. Gray (Feilding) took a number of awards with her birds, while Mr Pickett was also included, in the exhibitors’ winning prizes.
