DENTAL COUNCIL.

NOMINATIONS FOR SEATS. Per Press Association. . WELLINGTON, Juno 30. Four nominations, two from the North Island and two from the South, have been received hy the authorities for election to tho New Zealand Dental Council to bo established under the Dentists Act passed by the last session of Parliament. One representative from each island will he elected by registered dentists in the respectivo islands by a postal ballot during July. The nominations which closed to-day are: North Island, John Norman Rishwortli (Auckland) and Ernest Gordon Render (Wellington); South Island, Owen Vivian Davies (Dunedin) and Douglas Vernon Donaldson (Christchurch). The two members returned as a. result of this poll will be the only elective members of the council. It is presumed tho Government will await the result of the election before appointing its nominees.
